Day 1: Rio de Janeiro

Arrival Rio de Janeiro Airport. Transfer to Hotel Leme Othon.

Arrival at the Hotel Check in.

CHECK IN: check in time is at 02:00 PM

Dinner at restaurant Marius Barbecue. Walking distance from hotel.

Day 2: Rio de Janeiro

AM - Sugar Loaf and historical visit

Sugar Loaf - The height and unmistakable outline of Sugarloaf make it – together with Christ the Redeemer – one of the two main attractions offering breathtaking views of Rio. This famous landmark is reached by cable car in two stages: first to the top of Urca Hill, where visitors catch the second car to their final destination. After visiting, guests will take the cable car to the floor Following the visits, now heading to the historic city center including a nice walking tour on the narrows streets with its houses and monuments from the Colonial period. Lunch at Restaurant Confeitaria Colombo one of the most traditional restaurant in Rio with its magnificent salons lined with ornate jacaranda-framed mirrors imported from Belgium at the turn of the century. Lunch is a Buffet style.

Day 3: Rio De Janeiro

AM – visit the Corcovado & Santa Teresa district in jeeps.

From the hotel departure in 4 x 4 Jeeps (opened military style jeeps) for an exciting tour passing the famous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, through the Tijuca Forest until the the Paineiras where they will board on the van with 10 seats to go up to the Statue of Chist in the top of Corcovado Mountain. After time to enjoy the view and take Photos. Return to Paineiras en vans and embark in the jeeps to proceed to the Santa Teresa district. Santa Teresa district: an old neighborhood of Rio, where it is possible to see the original architecture of the beginning of the 19th century. During the 60's Santa Teresa became the hippie's center and today the Home of many artists such painters and sculptors.

Dinner at MIO restaurant. A Cozy atmosphere, Mediterranean cousin, located in the famous Ipanema, surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurant. 03 course dinner.

Samba and Carnival Show at Plataforma I

After dinner, transfer to samba show. The with about 30 Mulatas dancers and a competent male cast presenting the cultural way of Brazilian music.

Day 4: Salvador / Praia do Forte

Breakfast at hotel restaurant

Transfer to the Airport

Arrival at Salvador international airport, meet and greet by our bilingual guides. Transfer direct to Salvador city (about 01 hour transfer), following directly to the Historical area. Clients will arrive at the Pelourinho area, the most important grouping of 17th and 18th century in Latin America, considered by UNESCO as one of the Historical onuments of the World, with its great churches – the Cathedral Basilica and St.Francisco, the famous gold church, with its Baroque woodcarvings all gilt in gold leaf.

After lunch tour will continue and clients be taken to the most famous handicraft market of the city: The Mercado Modelo, installed in the old customs building. Free time for visit and shopping. Return to the bus and transfer back to Praia do Forte about 1 hour and 30 minutes transfer.

Arrival at the Hotel – In private area a welcome drink will be served while the room keys are distributed.

Day 5: Praia do Forte

Visit to Santo Antonio village followed to a canoe ride along the Imbassaí River.

This morning you will have an amazing experience in the magic landscape closed to the resort.

Optional activities:

AM - board in 4-wheel drive vehicles or vans to visit the small village of Santo Antonio located in the middle of the sand dunes (distant 6km). A visit to see basketry produced by local women, and then a walk till the beach for a dip in the sea. Next, the group will continue walking over a 2-km tretch of deserted beach to the Imbassaí River. There, the group will board Canadian-style canoes for a 35-minute ride with the possibility to have a stop for a swim in the river.

Transfer back to Resort in jeeps or vans.

PM- 15 minutes transfer in 4-wheel drive vehicles or vans to the Imbassaí River near the tiny village of Diogo. The group will then board Canadian canoes with a capacity for 3 people each for a 30-minute journey rowing downstream to a deserted beach. The group will then walk along this amazing beach to the village of Santo Antonio, the inverse route of group 1. Transfer back to Resort in jeeps or vans.

Or at leisure to enjoy the Hotel’s facilities or just to relax at the beach or in one of the best SPA of Brasil – Thalasso Spa.

There is also a charming fishing village near from the resort, with a great bars, Restaurants and stores, and the ruins of Brazil’s only medieval-style construction, the Garcia d'Avila Castle.

Other great attractions is the Projeto Tamar, which does the important work of sea turtle preservation all along the Brazilian coast. It is an incredible place, with aquariums, tanks of sea turtles and other animals, a store, restaurants and much more.

Day 6: Praia do Forte

Buggies Raid in Mangue Seco

Departure from the hotel at 08h00 in air-conditioned coaches heading to Costa Azul, 120 kilometers north of Costa do Sauipe. And the distance is well worth it, as the excitement begins on the beach at Costa Azul. We will take dune buggies (2 passengers each) for a 20-minute ride along the beach to Mangue Seco, over sand trails to see fishing villages and a tributary of the Real River. Throughout this part of the tour, clients can drive the dune buggies themselves if they wish.

The ride ends with a journey over the breathtaking dunes at Mangue Seco (here the vehicles must be driven by professionals), and there is even a stop for sandboarding. Next, we continue on to the beach where we will enjoy a swim in the sea and a delicious buffet.

After lunch, we will visit the village of Mangue Seco and at 16h30 we will board a local boat for a 15-minute river crossing to the village of Pontal.

Return by coach to the hotel, with an estimated arrival time of 19h00
